We're drifting.
There
are no meaningful jobs being created. Only simple replacements for jobs
that were lost. No new industry. Not with U.S. jobs attached.
That is not progress. Of course, the goal of the industrial complex in this country is not progress any longer.
The
goal is maintenance. Fiefdoms in health insurance, cheap, unhealthy
fast food and from petty products made in China and sold at WalMart.
As
a nation, we are barely able to find the resources to put our most
vigorous geographic sector back together after a direct hit from Mother
Nature.
And all the while the Neo-Fascists hold on tightly to
the seat belt of low taxes hoping to ride out the tumult coming from the
latest election.
They throw ridiculous charges about Libya
against the wall as their latest distraction. Silly, stupid and
wasteful. But if you own media, you may as well use it for your
propaganda.
Fascists do not go away. Vermin? Well, what do you
call someone who would deny average citizens health care for an
additional fourteen cents on a pizza that is killing them with heart
disease?
This current episode in the rebirth of Fascism is not
about Obama. It is about maintaining the wealth that supports one entire
segment of the population at the expense of another, larger segment.
It is about preventing jobs, not creating jobs.
Obama is merely the symbol, not the target. We are the target.
We, the American people, the tired, the poor, the wretched refuse of this teeming shore.
